The email task notification is an informative reminder that we need to get something done. While it is often times very useful for participants in an application or process, as application designers, the process of creating them isn’t always the most exciting portion of your new app. Even more fun is translating those tabular email templates into all of the languages your application supports. Well rest assured, more Generative AI is on its way from AgilePoint to free you from the world’s most monotonous task.
How Does it Work?
Much like some of the prior blogs you’d read in this series, Generative AI for Email notifications works based on prompts, where a user will describe in a sentence or two the nature of the notification, and AgilePoint’s AI takes it from there. In mere seconds you will see sample text along with placeholders that can be used to insert contextual application data.
So once AgilePoint has created the notification, simply replace those placeholders with variables from the data explorer – whether its fields on your form, external data, or system data, your email will be personalized for the recipient, and show them exactly what they need to see to make a fast and informed decision.
Ok, but you also mentioned localization?
We did, and that would be our very next step. Once the email template is looking great, simply choose to localize it into as many languages you need. Select your preferred language from the drop-down, and AgilePoint’s AI works its magic to instantly translate and localize. Rinse and repeat for as many additional languages that you require. That’s it, all done!
Is this feature as exciting as automating the assembly of an entire business app? Probably not. But it is representative of how we approach application and process composition – make it as easy and powerful as possible, so that everyone can be empowered to create their own solutions to make work easier, more natural, and hopefully more fun!
Now, lets watch this in action in a short video.
Please note that this video is recorded while this feature is in limited-preview beta version. Some of the labels and icons might change by the time it goes GA but the general concept of generating an email would remain the same.
