As part of the series of product updates on AgilePoint NX v9.0 SU1 release, the next one I would like to share is Microsoft Planner, which is part of the Microsoft 365 family of products. Before we go further, please note that AgilePoint NX already integrates with other popular third-party task/project management tools such as Trello, Jira, Monday and Asana.
Microsoft 365 is a suite of office productivity software, collaboration and cloud-based services from Microsoft. It encompasses online services Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint amongst others. Planner is primarily task management tool.
AgilePoint NX process designer now provides the following new process activities:
- Create Plan
- Create Bucket
- Create Task
- Delete Bucket
- Delete Plan
- Delate Task
- Get Plan
- Get Task
- Rename Bucket
- Remove Assignees
- Update Plan
- Update Task
Integrating AgilePoint NX with Planner brings many benefits. To start, one can connect to 110+ popular third-party integrations for more effective task management. Tasks can be streamlined via a process engine for better execution. In general, task management tools benefit with additional layers of governance layers such as access rights, security, alerting, reassignment, delegation and more, which come out-of-the-box with AgilePoint NX.
Let’s see these features in action in the video.
Note: Please note that this video is recorded while this feature is in beta version. Some of the labels and icons might change by the time it goes GA but the general concept of configuring these activities would remain the same.
